<p>IKUS Life Enrichment Service / Indian Trails Camp</p> <ul> <li>Flexible Hours! </li><li>Growth Opportunities - Start Part-Time, Grow to Full-Time! </li><li>Make a Real Difference Every Day! </li></ul> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>As an Employment Specialist, you'll be a key player in helping individuals in our Supported Employment program achieve independence and success in the workplace. From creating resumes to landing the job, you'll be there every step of the way-providing guidance, encouragement, and hands-on support. You'll assist with job searching, applications, interview prep, and follow-up. Once hired, you'll help individuals navigate onboarding and offer on-the-job coaching to ensure long-term success. You'll also play an active role in developing and documenting each individual's Supported Employment plan, aligned with their Person-Centered Plan (PCP), while upholding all Recipient Rights, HIPAA regulations, and organizational standards.</p> <p>Join a team where your work matters-and where your impact is felt every day!</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>Support a caseload of 6+ individuals as they pursue meaningful employment </li><li>Help participants create personalized career goals and navigate barriers to success </li><li>Assist with job searches, applications, interview preparation, and follow-up\ </li><li>Provide hands-on support during onboarding and deliver job coaching as needed </li><li>Serve as a liaison between individuals, employers, families, and support staff </li><li>Attend referral meetings, Person-Centered Planning (PCP) sessions, and other team meetings </li><li>Maintain clear, timely documentation in alignment with organizational and legal standards </li><li>Embrace flexibility-this role may require varied hours to best support the individuals you serve </li></ul> <p>What You Bring:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree preferred, but equivalent work experience will be considered </li><li>Experience working with individuals with neurological and/or physical disabilities </li><li>Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills </li><li>Ability to work independently and problem-solve in real time </li><li>A heart for advocacy and a belief in the potential of every person </li><li>Valid Michigan driver's license and an acceptable driving record </li></ul> <p>Bonus: Supervisory experience is a plus, but not required.</p> <p>Perks & Possibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Flexible hours that fit your life </li><li>Potential to grow from part-time to full-time </li><li>A collaborative and compassionate team culture </li><li>Ongoing training and development opportunities </li><li>A deeply rewarding role where you see the impact of your work every day </li></ul> <p>IKUS Life Enrichment Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer</p> <p>Learn more about IKUS at www.ikuslife.org</p>
