<p>#LI-AS1d</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>The Labor Management Specialist ensures the accuracy and integrity of agency staffing hours, timecard records, and premium labor reporting across the organization. This role serves as a key resource for monitoring agency utilization, reconciling discrepancies, and supporting labor cost control initiatives while partnering with field leadership to maintain compliance and operational efficiency.</p> <p>Essential Functions :</p> <p>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p> <ul> <li>Audit agency timecards and invoices; reconcile discrepancies in partnership with center leadership </li><li>Monitor agency staffing hours, overtime usage, and premium labor trends to identify risks </li><li>Coordinate agency scheduling support and troubleshoot system entries (e.g., Smartlinx) </li><li>Provide recurring reports highlighting agency utilization trends and labor metrics </li><li>Communicate discrepancies, corrections, and follow-up actions with field leadership </li><li>Support workforce analytics and labor reporting processes </li><li>Assist with policy adherence and provide guidance on agency timekeeping practices </li><li>Maintain accurate and timely reconciliation of agency hours across all centers </li><li>Support premium labor audits, including invoice validation and budgeted labor tracking (PPD,OT) </li><li>Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory expectations related to labor management. </li></ul> <p>Safety - When in our Centers:</p> <ul> <li>Knows and follows North Shore Health rules </li><li>Follows North Shore Health dress and hygiene policies </li><li>Follows North Shore Health smoking policies </li><li>Uses required protective equipment (as needed during center visits) </li><li>Follows infection control standards, policies and procedures. </li></ul> <p>Resident Rights :</p> <ul> <li>Knows Resident Rights </li><li>Helps the residents/patients exercise and/or protect their rights </li><li>Maintains confidentiality of resident/patient and employee information. </li></ul> <p>HIPAA :</p> <ul> <li>Follows and adheres to North Shore Health's policies and procedures implementing HIPAA requirements for the privacy and security of protected health information </li><li>Uses and/or discloses only minimum amount of Protected Health Information necessary to complete assigned tasks </li><li>Reports all suspected violation of company's HIPAA policies or procedures to North Shore Health Chief Compliance Officer. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment/Physical Requirements :</p> <p>This is primarily a sedentary role with extended periods of sitting (approximately 80%) with occasional walking or movement (approximately 10%) and limited driving (approximately 10%) for site visits as</p> <p>needed.</p> <p>Required Qualifications :</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED required </li><li>Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Analytics, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience) </li><li>Experience with workforce management or scheduling systems (Smartlinx or similar preferred) </li><li>Experience auditing timecards, payroll, or labor data </li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office </li><li>Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with field leadership regarding discrepancies and resolutions. </li></ul> <p>Additional Competencies :</p> <ul> <li>Analytical thinking and problem-solving </li><li>Strong attention to detail </li><li>Data integrity and accuracy focus </li><li>Effective communication and collaboration skills </li><li>Organizational and time management skills. </li></ul> <p>Additional Expectations :</p> <ul> <li>This role will be based full-time at our Support Center in downtown Milwaukee </li></ul>
