<p>Description</p> <p>Hours: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm, Monday - Friday, w/some Saturdays 9:00 am - 2:00 pm.</p> <p>Pay: $19.75/hr. depending on experience + opportunity for quarterly bonus and incentive</p> <p>This is a roaming position, one must have the ability to travel to different locations on short notice. Monthly gas stipend offered.</p> <p>General Summary:</p> <p>The person in this position of Specialist Financial Service Representative will function in various</p> <p>roles depending on the needs of the branch. This person will help members by processing</p> <p>transactions, identifying members' needs and offering solutions. This person needs to have the</p> <p>ability to work at all branch locations and be able to change locations at a moment's notice. This</p> <p>person will strive to increase member satisfaction and account retention. Also, every employee</p> <p>is responsible for fulfilling our Mission Statement: To improve the financial well-being of our</p> <p>members, while providing world class service.</p> <p>Essential Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Actively listen to members to identify financial needs and goals. </li><li>Offer solutions by cross-selling products and services. </li><li>Maintain a professional and courteous attitude during transactions. </li><li>Accurately process member transactions. (Deposits, payments, withdrawals, checks, cash, etc.) </li><li>Create relationships with our members to ensure their needs are met. </li><li>Ensure a high level of member service is achieved and maintained. </li><li>Assist branches when needed with Relationship Calls. </li><li>Be highly knowledgeable of all Credit Union products and services. </li><li>Refers members that have Real Estate, Commercial loans, and Wealth Management needs. </li><li>Answer inquiries regarding interest rates, fees, and account histories while complying with disclosure requirements, regulations, and privacy policies. </li><li>Buy and sell currency from the vault as necessary ensuring teller drawer cash limits are not exceeded. </li><li>Be punctual to assist with opening/closing procedures. </li><li>Follow the Member Service Roadmap. </li><li>Participate in the Making the Difference Index Step-Up program. </li><li>Follows on-boarding member interactions with thank you cards/notes in M1 and reassigning to branch management for completion. </li><li>Provides all information and documents needed for loan decisions honestly and accurately. </li><li>Acquires necessary documentation to support loan applications. </li><li>Comply with all regulations as required by law, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, </li><li>Truth in Savings, OFAC, FACT Act, GLBA, Regulation CC, and other regulations as it relates to this position. </li><li>Assist in operational function of the branch. </li><li>Assist in ensuring the security of the branch is maintained. </li><li>Ensure all Credit Union policies and procedures are followed. </li><li>Ability to travel to all branch locations. </li><li>When traveling to branches, remain courteous and respectful by following their dress-code guidelines given by the manager. </li><li>Create a working relationship with each branch location. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Perks for you:</p> <ul> <li>Affordable health insurance with employer HSA contributions. </li><li>14.47% 401(k) contribution (no matching necessary). </li><li>18 PTO days each year. </li><li>12 paid holidays. </li><li>Opportunity for advancement and career growth. </li><li>Ongoing paid training opportunities. </li><li>Discounts on Credit Card interest rates. </li><li>Discounts on Mortgage Loan fees. </li><li>Plus other employee banking perks. </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>The experience you need to succeed:</p> <ul> <li>Six to twelve months of similar or related experience in a financial banking institution / Credit Union strongly preferred. </li><li>Must have High School diploma or equivalent G.E.D. </li><li>Understand Basic Computer Functions </li><li>Effective communication skills. </li><li>Cash Handling experience. </li><li>Working knowledge to Microsoft Word/Excel. </li><li>Must have a consistent and reliable source of transportation. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment & Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Works primarily in a branch office environment, with occasional trips into field environment locations. This includes but is not limited to various outdoor and indoor climates, public venues, and driving conditions. </li><li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee may regularly need to: see, talk, hear, and perform repetitive movements with arms, hands and fingers to handle, feel, grasp and reach. A computer, phone, and standard office equipment are normal tools for this position. Specific vision abilities that may be required by this job include close vision and distance vision. The employee may at times also need to: climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
