Morgan's US Private Bank, the Associate will play a role in the event strategy for the markets in the region, bringing creative ideas, suggested venues and proposed content to the market with considerable thought to strategic execution. Planner will assist manager and colleagues with all work related to any in-person or virtual event responsibilities including content development, speaker readiness, data tracking, client experience, execution, follow-up and impact.</p> <p>As an Events Management Associate supporting J.P. Morgan's US Private Bank you will create and execute client events from concept to execution for the NY & East Region. You will interact with colleagues on the global events team and the larger marketing group, bankers and product partners, and senior management so that we can ensure a consistent and distinctive experience for clients which underscore our business strategies. You will primarily focus on local/regional client events, but will be involved in large events targeting a global client base, you will also work on multiple event projects simultaneously, ranging from large events, to intimate roundtable dinner discussions, both in-person and virtual experiences.</p> <p>Job responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Understand business objectives and help develop an event strategy that supports business goals </li><li>Create and execute high-touch events consistent with J.P. Morgan Private Bank brand standards </li><li>Maintain budgets and event calendar with strong emphasis on data management, list keeping, and operational efficiencies; invoice processing </li><li>Secure event venues; contract audio visual companies and other associated vendors as required to execute programs </li><li>Manage data entry and leverage our events management platform to build and track events, manage RSVPs pre and post event and ROI analysis </li><li>Manage event email communications via our event management platform, including the invitation, reminders, and post event communications </li><li>Manage onsite event staffing which may include registration desk management, distribution of materials, oversight of presentations/AV needs, speaker handling, and coordination with vendors </li><li>Coordinate pre-event tasks such as briefing templates, production of name badges, place cards, menu cards, printed materials; seating assignments for events; packing and shipping of event supplies </li><li>Coordinate post-event tasks such as final data management and event debrief documents </li><li>Participate in weekly regional team meetings, budget calls, and multiple banker meetings providing event updates </li><li>Liaise with other J.P. Morgan lines of business, in order to leverage and consolidate ideas, shared resources and cross sell event opportunities </li><li>Lend support on ad-hoc special projects </li></ul> <p>Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:</p> <ul> <li>4+ years prior experience in event management related activities </li><li>Strong proficiency working in Microsoft Products (Excel, Word & PowerPoint) </li><li>Ability to master various database products </li><li>Ability to work from the NYC office full time </li><li>Ability to work early morning, late evening, and weekend events </li><li>Ability to travel </li><li>Excellent oral and written communications skills </li><li>Ability to prioritize tasks and communicate clearly amongst a variety of personalities </li><li>Strategic thinker with the ability to problem solve and offer creative solutions </li><li>Must be able to multi-task and work under tight deadlines </li><li>Excellent organizational skills and extreme attention to detail </li></ul> <p>Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Prior experience in financial services</p> </li><li> <p>Experience working in SharePoint, Aventri or other CRM platforms</p> </li></ul>
