The MHT is responsible for knowledge and modeling of Dayton Children's values through effective interaction with patients, families, and treatment team members while providing excellent care.</p> <p>The Mental Health Technician (MHT) is responsible for performing supportive, trauma informed care to patients/families. Responsibilities include the provision of a safe and therapeutic milieu, completion of routine safety checks and constant attendance per order, adherence to patient-specific treatment plans, crisis intervention, assistance with activities of daily living, appropriate documentation, and collaboration with the treatment team.
