For more information, please visit www.accelentertainment.com.</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>SUMMARY</p> <p>The Senior Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for performing advanced accounts payable functions, including invoice processing, payment execution, account reconciliations, and process improvement initiatives. This role acts as a lead within the AP team, providing support, guidance, and mentorship to junior staff while ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.</p> <p>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Perform day-to-day accounts payable operations, including high-volume invoice processing and payment runs </li><li>Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all disbursements (checks, ACH, wires) </li><li>Review and reconcile vendor statements and resolve complex discrepancies </li><li>Monitor aging reports and maintain accurate records of outstanding payables </li><li>Assist with monthly and year-end close, including accruals, journal entries, and reporting </li><li>Lead or participate in AP-related projects and process improvement initiatives </li><li>Support the AP Manager with audits, internal controls, and policy compliance </li><li>Serve as the point of contact for escalated vendor and internal inquiries </li><li>Mentor and support training of junior AP team members </li><li>Maintain and enforce adherence to company policies and accounting standards </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred </li><li>3-5 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting, with increasing levels of responsibility </li><li>Strong understanding of accounting principles and AP best practices </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks) NetSuite experience a plus </li><li>Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills </li><li>High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail </li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills </li><li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment </li></ul> <p>Preferred Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with 3-way match and PO-based invoice processing </li><li>Knowledge of 1099 preparation and sales/use tax regulations </li><li>Familiarity with process automation tools or AP workflow systems </li><li>Knowledge of SOX compliance </li><li>Prior experience leading or mentoring team members </li></ul> <p>BENEFITS</p> <ul> <li>PTO / Wellness Days / Floating Holidays </li><li>Medical / Dental / Vision Insurance </li><li>Life / AD&D / Hospital Indemnity / Critical Illness / Accident Insurance </li><li>STD / LTD </li><li>Legal / ID Theft Insurance </li><li>FSA (Health Care, Dependent Care, Limited Purpose) / HSA </li><li>Traditional and Roth 401(k) </li></ul> <p>Base Pay Range:</p> <p>50000-65000</p> <p>This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position.
