The position will be embedded at the student health center, spending time split between there and the Counseling Center, and will work in concert with medical providers and mental health professionals on campus to provide an integrated approach to healthcare and mental health and wellness. This is a hybrid position, providing both in-person and tele-health services.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Provide culturally informed individual counseling, group therapy, initial assessments, crisis intervention, and referral services to students. </li><li>Maintain availability to provide brief intervention, drop-in hours, outreach and consultation for Student Health Center primary care patients and referrals. </li><li>Demonstrate commitment, skill and experience in diversity and inclusion programming and clinical expertise in working with traditionally underserved or marginalized populations. </li><li>Provide consultation to faculty, staff and administration regarding students. </li><li>Facilitate psycho-educational groups, support groups, and conduct workshops on mental health-related topics. </li><li>May provide supervision to trainees. </li><li>Maintain APA professional ethics in all areas. </li><li>Participate in weekly clinical supervision. </li><li>Collaborate with the team to work an on-call (evenings and weekends) a few times a year, acting as back-up to the main emergency line. </li><li>Attend divisional and Counseling Center staff meetings. </li><li>Additional tasks as assigned by Executive Director. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of a Master's Degree in Psychology or related field (LCSW, Professional Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapy). (Please review the Equivalency Chart for additional information.) </li><li>Minimum of 1 year of experience, including experience working with non-traditional students. </li><li>Eligible to become licensed in the State of Pennsylvania. </li><li>Demonstrated commitment to working with students with multiple marginalized identities and international students. </li><li>Excellent culturally informed counseling, crisis intervention and communication skills. </li><li>Good organizational and computer skills. </li><li>Ability to work on-call (evenings and weekends) on a rotational basis, approximately once per term. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>1 year of full-time supervised internship experience in college or university counseling center or other relevant setting, preferably APA accredited </li><li>Experience providing personal counseling, crisis intervention, assessment and consultation to late adolescent/early adult population or undergraduate and graduate students in a college or university setting (internship acceptable). </li></ul> <p>Location</p> <ul> <li>University City - Philadelphia, PA </li></ul> <p>Additional Information</p> <p>This position is classified as Exempt, grade K. Compensation for this grade ranges from $54,630 - $81,940 per year.
