<p>Job Title: Global Risk Oversight Intern</p> <p>Department: Finance - Global Risk Oversight Intern</p> <p>Location: Westerville, OH - HQ</p> <p>Reports To: GRO Director or Sr. Director</p> <p>Duration: [Insert Duration - e.g., 10-12 weeks, Summer 2026]</p> <p>Type: Internship (Full-Time/Part-Time)</p> <p>About the Role:</p> <p>We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Global Risk Oversight team within the Finance Audit function. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in enterprise risk management, internal controls, and global audit practices in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Assist in the identification, assessment, and monitoring of financial, operational, and compliance risks across global business units. </li><li>Support the development and execution of internal audit plans and risk assessments. </li><li>Analyze data and trends to identify emerging risks and control gaps. </li><li>Participate in audit walkthroughs, interviews, and documentation reviews. </li><li>Help prepare audit reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership. </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Legal, Compliance, and IT. </li><li>Contribute to special projects related to risk governance, regulatory compliance, and internal control enhancements. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Risk Management, or a related field. </li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus. </li><li>Interest in internal audit, enterprise risk management, or corporate governance. </li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a global team. </li></ul> <p>What You'll Gain:</p> <ul> <li>Exposure to global risk oversight and internal audit frameworks. </li><li>Hands-on experience with real-world risk and control challenges. </li><li>Mentorship from experienced audit and finance professionals. </li><li>Networking opportunities across departments and regions. </li><li>A deeper understanding of how risk is managed in a global organization. </li></ul> <p>The successful candidate will embrace Vertiv's Core Principals & Behaviors to help execute our Strategic Priorities.</p> <p>OUR CORE PRINCIPALS: Safety.
