<p>General Job Information</p> <p>JOB SUMMARY</p> <p>This is a Grant-Funded position established under the State Opioid Response 3 (SOR3) grant locally entitled the District of Columbia Opioid Response (DCOR). The incumbent of this position serves as primary contact for specific SOR3 initiatives and oversight of grant activities as assigned. Responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating outcomes for those initiatives within predetermined timelines, budgets, and established quality standards. Coordinates data collection and evaluation activities that can be used for program monitoring and decision making. Monitors and manages contractual agreements between partnering agencies/entities (e.g., memorandums of understanding), expenditure reports, budget changes, spending plans, and sub-grant/recipient agreements. Conducts research into matters of general or specific concerns, which fulfills the requirements of the grant. Manages and elevates challenges of grant activities to Project Director (SOR).</p> <p>This position IS in the collective bargaining unit represented by SEM and you may be required to pay an agency service fee through an automatic payroll deduction.</p> <p>This Position is Budgeted at a Grade 12/Step 1, salary of $92,656 Only.</p> <p>Area of Consideration: Open to the Public</p> <p>Duration of Appointment: Term Appointment, Not-to-Exceed 13 Months</p> <p>First Screening Date: March 13, 2026; and every two weeks thereafter</p> <p>Tour of Duty: 8:15 a.m.-4:45 p.m. Monday - Friday</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENT:</p> <p>Candidates must have completed a full four (4) year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's degree with major study in an academic field relating to health science or allied sciences pertinent to the position. In addition to meeting the basic requirements, this position requires one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level. Specialized experience is experience, which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position to be filled.</p> <p>LICENSURE</p> <p>None</p> <p>EDUCATION</p> <p>Bachelor's degree with major study in an academic field relating to health science or allied sciences.</p> <p>WORK EXPERIENCE</p> <p>Experience in planning, implementing, and evaluating outcomes for those initiatives within predetermined timelines, budgets and established quality standards.</p> <p>WORK ENVIRNOMENT</p> <p>The work is performed primarily in an office setting. Attendance and participation in evening or weekend meetings may be required.</p> <p>Position Designation: This position is deemed as "Security Sensitive" pursuant to Section 410 of Chapter 4 of the D.C. Personnel Regulations, in addition to the general suitability screening, individuals applying for or occupying security sensitive positions are subject to the following checks and tests:</p> <ul> <li>Criminal background check; </li><li>Traffic record check (as applicable); </li><li>Consumer credit check (as applicable); </li><li>Reasonable suspicion drug and alcohol test; and </li><li>Post-accident or incident drug and alcohol test. </li></ul> <p>THIS POSITION REQUIRES A PRE-EMPLOYMENT PHYSICAL</p> <p>RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT:</p> <p>A person applying for a position in the Career Service, Educational Service, Management Supervisory Service, a line attorney position in the Legal Service (series 905), or an attorney position in the Excepted Service (series 905) who is a bona fide District resident AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION for the position may be awarded a 10-point residency preference over non-District applicants, unless the person declines the preference points. If selected, the person shall be required to present proof of bona fide District residency and maintain such residency for 7 consecutive years from the effective date of the appointment.
