<p>Job Description:</p> <p>The NFA Foundation seeks a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant. This full-time role involves managing daily office operations, maintaining donor and alumni records in Blackbaud's Raiser's Edge/NXT, processing gifts and financial reports, and assisting with events and donor engagement. The ideal candidate is proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, has strong communication skills, and delivers exceptional customer service. Nonprofit experience and familiarity with CRM databases are preferred. This is a 12 month position working 37 hours per week.</p> <p>Essential Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <p>Administrative & Office Support:</p> <ul> <li>Provide administrative assistance to the Executive Director and NFA Foundation staff. </li><li>Serve as the primary receptionist, greeting and assisting visitors, including faculty, staff, students, and alumni. </li><li>Manage calendars and conference room scheduling for alumni and campus use. </li><li>Prepare, distribute, and maintain minutes from meetings. </li><li>Manage office supply inventories. </li></ul> <p>Database & Record Management:</p> <ul> <li>Enter, update, and maintain donor and alumni records in Blackbaud's Raiser's Edge/NXT. </li><li>Ensure database accuracy through regular data review and cleanup. </li><li>Run queries and reports; generate donor acknowledgments and other correspondence. </li><li>Financial Processing & Reporting </li><li>Process daily gifts, prepare bank deposits, and coordinate check requests. </li><li>Assist with monthly financial reports and account reconciliations. </li><li>Organize and maintain donor, scholarship, and alumni records. </li></ul> <p>Event & Donor Support:</p> <ul> <li>Support donor identification, cultivation, and stewardship activities as directed by gift officers. </li><li>Assist with event preparation as needed. </li></ul> <p>Other:</p> <ul> <li>Deliver excellent customer service to all Foundation constituencies. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma required; 1-3 years of nonprofit experience preferred. </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required. </li><li>Experience with Blackbaud's Raiser's Edge/NXT or other CRM preferred. </li><li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft internal and external communications. </li><li>Demonstrated customer service skills and ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. </li></ul> <p>Application Procedures:</p> <p>Please submit a cover letter, resume, three letters of recommendation (within 1 years).</p> <p>Only online applications will be accepted.</p> <p>No phone calls or email.</p> <p>Hourly rate: $22.00</p> <p>Start date: Immediately upon filled</p> <p>To apply, please go to: https://www.nfaschool.org/about-us/employment</p> <p>NFA is an equal opportunity employer.
