<p>JOB TITLE: Cloud Engineer - AWS</p> <p>FLSA STATUS: Exempt</p> <p>DEPARTMENT: Technology</p> <p>REPORTS TO: Director, Cloud Services</p> <p>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: No</p> <p>JOB LOCATION: Remote</p> <p>TRAVEL: None</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Serve as a point of contact for all infrastructure supporting our enterprise applications </li><li>Create and maintain i3's infrastructure as code portfolio </li><li>Facilitate infrastructure migrations and changes within AWS using tools such as BitBucket, Azure DevOps, Terraform, and CloudFormation </li><li>Engage and assist our security team to maintain a secure environment for our applications </li><li>Create and maintain a portfolio of templates, scripts, and configurations for developers to use when building out new environments or applications </li><li>Research and engineer new ways to monitor systems and applications for performance and availability </li><li>Review network / application performance and deploy any necessary enhancements into relevant environments </li><li>Execute quarterly security scans and work with security and development teams to resolve </li></ul> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE):</p> <ul> <li>5+ years experience managing and operating critical infrastructure in a cloud-based environment </li><li>In-depth knowledge of AWS services (VPC, RDS, ECS, EC2, Glue, Athena) </li><li>Practical experience with device and application monitoring tools (ex: Site24x7, New Relic, CloudWatch, GuardDuty, etc.) </li><li>Strong experience creating and maintaining pipelines within CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, AWS CodeDeploy, or BitBucket </li><li>Advanced knowledge creating and maintaining containerized applications </li><li>Strong sense of ownership over your work </li><li>Determination to follow issues to resolution both with and without guidance </li><li>Strong experience with Python </li><li>Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related </li></ul> <p>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE):</p> <ul> <li>Experience migrating applications from dedicated environments to cloud-based providers </li><li>AWS certification (Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, DevOps Engineer) </li><li>Experience setting up and securely configuring web servers such as Apache, Nginx, and IIS </li></ul>
