<p>Technical Project Manager</p> <p>Location: Tampa, FL (Hybrid)</p> <p>Employment Type: Contract to Hire</p> <p>Industry: Financial Services</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>A leading financial services firm is seeking a Technical Project Manager / Tech Lead to manage technology lifecycle and Evergreen initiatives across its application ecosystem. This individual will oversee cross-functional coordination, dependency management, and enterprise reporting to support both ongoing operations and strategic technology improvements.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ol> <li>Ecosystem Oversight & Dependency Management </li></ol> <ul> <li> <p>Maintain a comprehensive view of application dependencies within the business unit.</p> </li><li> <p>Scope work for technology lifecycle and Evergreen activities.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate across technical and business teams to engage appropriate stakeholders.</p> </li></ul> <ol start="2"> <li>Prioritization & Book of Work Governance </li></ol> <ul> <li> <p>Validate the Book of Work in partnership with PMO and business stakeholders.</p> </li><li> <p>Prioritize tasks based on risk, business value, and budget considerations.</p> </li><li> <p>Escalate financial constraints as needed.</p> </li></ul> <ol start="3"> <li>Executive Reporting & Stakeholder Communication </li></ol> <ul> <li> <p>Provide updates via steering committees and monthly business reviews.</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate key milestones, risks, and progress transparently to leadership.</p> </li></ul> <ol start="4"> <li>Request Intake Management </li></ol> <ul> <li> <p>Review incoming requests, including business asks and urgent risk mitigation efforts.</p> </li><li> <p>Evaluate and route items appropriately to the prioritized workstream.</p> </li></ul> <ol start="5"> <li>Agile Support & Escalation Handling </li></ol> <ul> <li> <p>Participate in daily stand-ups to monitor progress and remove blockers.</p> </li><li> <p>Escalate critical issues and provide project-level oversight across teams.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate closely with application, infrastructure, and operations teams.</p> </li></ul> <ol start="6"> <li>Promote Enterprise IT Standards </li></ol> <ul> <li> <p>Work with enterprise architecture and IT service teams to align solutions with firm-wide standards.</p> </li><li> <p>Reduce reliance on non-standard technologies and encourage cost-effective practices.</p> </li></ul> <ol start="7"> <li>Best Practices & Knowledge Sharing </li></ol> <ul> <li> <p>Promote collaboration and knowledge transfer across application development teams.</p> </li><li> <p>Establish guidelines and repeatable approaches for managing technical risks.</p> </li></ul> <ol start="8"> <li>Dashboard & Reporting Management </li></ol> <ul> <li> <p>Maintain multiple dashboards (internal and enterprise) to reflect Evergreen and project statuses.</p> </li><li> <p>Share insights in weekly and monthly leadership forums.</p> </li></ul> <ol start="9"> <li>Project Coordination & Follow-ups </li></ol> <ul> <li> <p>Organize and lead cross-team meetings.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure timely updates and progress tracking for over 100 active Evergreen items annually.</p> </li><li> <p>Follow up on outstanding issues with relevant teams.</p> </li></ul> <p>Ideal Candidate Profile:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Experienced technical project manager with a background in large-scale enterprise environments</p> </li><li> <p>Skilled in managing technology lifecycle projects and Evergreen portfolios</p> </li><li> <p>Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills</p> </li><li> <p>Proficient in Agile methodologies and reporting tools</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to drive alignment across infrastructure, development, and business functions</p> </li></ul>
