This full time Physician Assistant will join a growing clinical team of general and developmental pediatricians, and advanced practice providers. Responsibilities include pediatric primary care ambulatory services focused mainly at our Sugar House Health Center and development and autism evaluations in our Child Development Program. Additional services at other locations may be required, depending on clinical need. Workers in this position may be exposed to infectious diseases and may be required to function around prisoners and behavioral health patients. </li></ul> <p>The staff member must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his or her assigned unit. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of life span growth and development and the ability to assess data regarding the patient's status and provide care as described in the department's policies and procedures manual</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>Current licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant from the State of Utah. </li><li>Current RQI Healthcare Provider eCredential through the University of Utah Health RQI system. The eCredential is to be obtained within 30 days of hire. </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Certification in ACLS/BLS/NRP/ATLS may be required by your department or by privileging criteria. </li></ul> <p>This position is patient-sensitive and must fulfill all associated requirements.
