As the Deputy PM, you will support the Program Manager overseeing and leading a visible technical program driving the Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) cloud platform that supports collection, management and analysis of digital engineering information in an architecture that provides seamless digital thread and enables tool interoperability, including data structures suitable for AI applications. Deputy Program Manager Responsibilities include customer engagement, monthly program reviews, ensuring delivery of SLA/SLOs, hiring and retaining of top engineering talent, and driving the advancement of core technologies and contractual deliverables in addition to being able to "roll up sleeves" to ensure success. The program manager must be ready to adapt quickly, locate areas for improvement and drive positive change. The successful candidate will be a hands-on technical manager with demonstrated expertise in driving success through working along-side the team helping to ensure work is completed accurately, timely, and blockers are removed/remediated.</p> <p>XYZ</p> <p>#LI-DE1</p> <p>Required Education, Experience, & Skills</p> <ul> <li>PMI Certified Program Management Professional (PMP) </li><li>Bachelor's degree in engineering, management, business, or related field </li><li>Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a technical team of 40+ </li><li>Over 10 years of experience providing program management for large-scale/ enterprise level engineering services programs in support of a top tier US Intelligence Agency more than $125M+ lifecycle value </li><li>Over 10 years of experience working on Intelligence Agency enterprise infrastructure and engineering programs, including on-site customer engagement </li><li>Experience staffing medium sized contractual efforts </li><li>Demonstrated experience with agile methodologies and a working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence </li><li>Experience leading and managing Operations & Maintenance, Engineering and Development teams in an agile workspace </li><li>Ability to ensure team produces quality deliverables gather data, create goals, metrics and reporting for internal and external leadership </li><li>Ability to represent the team and deliver status reports to internal and external leadership </li><li>Excellent organizational and follow through skills </li><li>Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills </li><li>Detail oriented </li><li>Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint </li><li>Experience with developing and delivering on cost plus based program efforts </li><li>Ability to ensure team produces quality deliverables gather data, create metrics and reporting for internal and external leadership </li></ul> <p>Location: Sterling, VA</p> <p>Core Hours: M-F 0900 - 1500</p> <p>Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in engineering, management, business, or related fields. </li><li>Over 15 years of experience working on Intelligence Agency enterprise infrastructure and engineering programs, including on-site customer engagement </li><li>Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a technical team of 50+ </li><li>Over 15 years of experience providing program management for large-scale/ enterprise level engineering services programs in support of a top-tier US Intelligence Agency more than $125M+ lifecycle value </li><li>Over 15 years of experience working on Intelligence Agency enterprise infrastructure and engineering programs, including on-site customer engagement </li></ul> <p>Pay Information</p> <p>Full-Time Salary Range: $149603 - $254317</p> <p>Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.</p> <p>Employee Benefits: At BAE Systems, we support our employees in all aspects of their life, including their health and financial well-being.
