<p>Position Summary:</p> <p>This position leads the planning, implementing, and coordinating of safety, environment, and sustainability programs to ensure safe working practices, while preventing or correcting unsafe working conditions. Implement activities that lead the facility to continuously improve the safety, environmental, and sustainability stewardship of the facility. Duties include providing inspections and evaluations of the organization to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and health laws.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <p>Safety Compliance - Daily safety audits, equipment reviews, erogonmic evaluations</p> <p>Safety Training - New Hire Orientation, OSHA & ISO 14001 annual training, etc.</p> <p>Incident Management - Accident root cause analysis and facilitation of corrective action</p> <p>Environmental Compliance - Waste, Air, Water, ISO 14001</p> <p>EHS Documentation - Procedures, Reports, ISO 14001</p> <p>Safety Events - Plan and execute periodic safety related events</p> <p>Other tasks as directedMinimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Skills):</p> <p>High School Diploma or GED</p> <p>1-3 years' work experience in a manufacturing/assembly environment</p> <p>Knowledge of current applicable safety, health and environmental standards, rules, and regulations</p> <p>Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including listening and presentation skills</p> <p>Intermediate level proficiency with Windows, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Skills):</p> <p>2 or 4 year degree in Engineering, Sciences, Safety, or Environmental Technology</p> <p>Experience with ISO 14001 Environmental Management System</p> <p>Accident/incident investigation with root cause analysis</p>
