<p>Job Title: Security Service Technician - New Haven, CT (Yale University Project)</p> <p>Location: New Haven, CT</p> <p>Schedule: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (occasional OT + possible on-call)</p> <p>Pay Rate: $37 / hour</p> <p>Position Overview</p> <p>Loyal Source is seeking an experienced Security Service Technician to support a large, campus-wide service and inspection project across Yale University. This role is ideal for a technician with strong troubleshooting skills, a service-first mindset, and the ability to work independently across a complex environment.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Security system troubleshooting - Diagnose issues with access control, CCTV, intrusion, and related low-voltage systems </li><li>System inspections - Perform routine and scheduled inspections to ensure system health and compliance </li><li>Repairs & adjustments - Restore system functionality and optimize performance </li><li>Campus-wide service support - Work across multiple Yale buildings and facilities </li><li>Documentation & reporting - Maintain accurate service logs, inspection reports, and device records </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Must hold one of the following Connecticut Low Voltage Licenses: </li><li>L5, L6, C5, or C6 </li><li>Minimum 3 years of experience as a security service or installation technician </li><li>Strong background in troubleshooting, diagnostics, and system inspections </li><li>Solid understanding of low-voltage wiring, terminations, and device functionality </li></ul> <p>Highly Preferred Experience / Certifications</p> <ul> <li>AXIS </li><li>Lenel </li><li>AMAG </li><li>VMS platforms </li><li>DMP </li></ul> <p>Benefits</p> <ul> <li>Company vehicle </li><li>Gas card </li><li>Phone </li><li>Laptop </li><li>Full benefits package including: </li><li>Medical </li><li>Dental </li><li>Vision </li><li>PTO </li><li>Paid holidays </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This is a high-visibility, long-term service role supporting Yale University's security infrastructure.
