<p>Regional One Health is seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to serve as Vice President of Outpatient Oncology, overseeing all operational, financial, and strategic aspects of our growing oncology service line. Oncology Services and Program Operations Formulates recommendations and manages the implementation of programmatic change. Collaborates, and works closely with the physician leaders, on the development of strategic goals for oncology services. Establishes systems and processes that ensure effective clinical operations, tumor-site coordination, and associated patient support services. Develops, administers, and communicates practices and procedures that are consistent with institutional policies and strategies. Establishes systems to ensure effective clinic/physician utilization and patient throughput. Analyzes trends in market demand and clinical practices; evaluates alternatives for appropriateness, short- and long-term impact, and cost consequences; and presents recommendations to physician and hospital leadership. Collaborates with business development, marketing and finance on marketing, strategic and growth initiatives. Interfaces effectively with the Regional One Health marketing office. Leads development of the annual operating plans and budgets. Maintains awareness of and communicates information related to oncology trends and parameters in health system and ancillary utilization, community needs, payor demands, physician references, market share, and competitor analysis. Manages all departmental operations regarding the selection and installation of capital equipment, facilities renovations, and facilities maintenance projects. #Financial and HR Management Develops and manages all budgets to ensure cost-effective operations. Analyzes variances; develops and implements action plans to ensure costs stay within acceptable financial ranges for each product line within the departments. Leads financial forecasting and planning for oncology services. Develops and presents comprehensive analyses of financial and programmatic recommendations for physicians, health system#leadership and community partners. Prepares and administers financial reporting systems, including practice budgets, and auxiliary enterprises, procurement processes, and departmental revenue. Proactively evaluates operations for potential implementation of cost-effective changes. Manages the implementation of approved changes and monitors data for cost savings, program outcomes, and customer satisfaction. Ensures compliance with financial decisions. Administers approved budgets, including salary issues, contracts, associated physician and staff expenses, and so forth. Provides leadership to staff in a collaborative environment that offers job satisfaction, recognition, and stimulates innovative thinking. Clearly establishes expectations for high levels of performance and holds staff accountable. Identifies workforce implications of operational trends and collaboratively formulates cost-efficient and appropriate staffing levels. Manages all personnel decisions and actions. In collaboration with HR, ensures that systems and processes are in place to recruit and retain staff. Ensures that all staff members understand their roles in accomplishing programmatic objectives. Leads department and cross-functional teams to resolve inter- and intradepartmental problems and to improve operational outcomes/initiatives. Organizational Leadership Formulates recommendations and manages the implementation of programmatic change. Champions projects utilizing project management skills. Collaborates with other health system and physician leaders to identify, reduce, and eliminate barriers that may negatively affect patient care and customer satisfaction. Serves on health system committees. Facilitates and oversees planning for regular Cancer Center Clinical Advisory meetings. Patient Experience Develops patient experience standards reflecting excellence and ensures that all employed physicians and staff are held accountable for adhering to these standards. Models and upholds a patient-first or customer service orientation.
