<p>Kforce has a client that is seeking a Materials Planner in Granville, OH.</p> <p>Roles and Responsibilities: Project Management (75%):</p> <ul> <li>Manage safe execution of capital projects for ASTM E2307 and E119 </li><li>Promote and follow established safety practices while identifying and addressing safety needs in laboratory processes </li><li>Prepare documentation for contracting vendors supporting ASTM E2307 and E119 capital projects within the Fire Research Center </li><li>Execute capital projects supporting ASTM E2307 and E119 test system buildouts </li><li>Provide input on improving scheduling efficiency for ASTM E2307 and E119 construction and installation activities </li><li>Coordinate quotes and purchase orders for multiple vendors supplying components of the ASTM E2307 and E119 test systems </li><li>Serve as the primary point of contact for all ASTM E2307 and E119 test system vendors </li><li>Work with vendors to plan, track, and maintain overall assembly and installation schedules </li><li>Support review of completed work on ASTM E2307 and E119 test systems and validate approvals with project leadership </li><li>Provide updates and reporting </li></ul> <p>Detail Design Support (25%):</p> <ul> <li>Support process development for ASTM E2307 and E119 test systems </li><li>Use hardware, software, and documentation tools to develop JHAs and SOPs for ASTM E2307 and E119 testing </li><li>Assist with design of software and hardware used to control ASTM E2307 and E119 test systems </li><li>Develop streamlined process models to support lab staff executing ASTM E2307 and E119 testing </li><li>Reduce or eliminate manual decision points and unnecessary human interaction within testing processes where practical* Degree in Engineering or a Science-related field </li><li>2-3 years of relevant industry experience </li><li>Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) </li><li>Prior laboratory experience with ASTM/ISO/IEC/ANSI thermal, acoustic, or fire testing </li><li>Experience constructing, assembling, or producing purpose-built equipment </li><li>Ability to lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods </li><li>Experience with CAD, 3D printing, and/or programming preferred </li></ul>
