<p>MuleSoft Tech Lead</p> <p>Location: San Francisco, California</p> <p>Please note that this role is not able to offer visa transfer or sponsorship now or in the future.</p> <p>Work Model: Hybrid</p> <p>We are seeking an experienced MuleSoft Lead to lead the design, development, and governance of enterprise-scale integration solutions. This role is responsible for driving API-led connectivity, establishing reusable integration frameworks, and ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performing integrations across cloud and enterprise platforms.</p> <p>Roles and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Lead the design and implementation of API-led connectivity using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. </li><li>Define and enforce reusable integration patterns and API specifications using RAML and OpenAPI standards. </li><li>Build, deploy, and manage APIs and microservices using MuleSoft (Mule 4.x, DataWeave). </li><li>Integrate cloud platforms and enterprise systems including Azure, AWS, Salesforce, SAP, and third-party applications. </li><li>Oversee CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes using Azure DevOps, Docker, and Kubernetes. </li><li>Establish and manage API governance, lifecycle management, analytics, and monitoring standards. </li><li>Implement and maintain security protocols including OAuth2, JWT, SAML, and SSL/TLS. </li><li>Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, troubleshoot production issues, and continuously improve performance, scalability, and maintainability while collaborating with business stakeholders, architects, and DevOps teams. </li></ul> <p>What You Need to Have to Be Considered</p> <ul> <li>Strong expertise in the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including integration development, API-led connectivity, and application network design. </li><li>Hands-on experience with MuleSoft platform administration, performance tuning, and security best practices. </li><li>Proven ability to design and architect scalable integration solutions using modern design patterns and architectural principles. </li><li>Deep understanding of integration needs within industrial manufacturing or similarly complex enterprise environments. </li><li>Strong skills in requirements gathering, solution structuring, and estimation/resource planning for integration initiatives. </li><li>Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including team leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and driving execution excellence. </li><li>Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. </li><li>MuleSoft certifications such as MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect and MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect. </li></ul> <p>Applications will be accepted until Apr 30, 2026</p> <p>Salary and Other Compensation</p> <p>The annual salary for this position is between $80,000p.a - $135,000p.a depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.</p> <p>This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.</p> <p>Cognizant offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance </li><li>Paid holidays plus Paid Time Off </li><li>401(k) plan and contributions </li><li>Long-term and Short-term Disability </li><li>Paid Parental Leave </li><li>Employee Stock Purchase Plan </li></ul> <p>Disclaimer: The salary, other compensation, and benefits of information is accurate as of the date of this posting.
