<p>Description</p> <p>Become a trusted advisor and source of financial information for teams across the company working to build grid capacity and resilience. The Finance & Sales Operations Analyst will play a key role in enabling our commercial success by providing strategic visibility into sales performance, revenue forecasting, and operational efficiency.</p> <p>Join our collaborative finance team at LineVision, named one of the 2025 Built In Best Places to Work in Boston for the third year in a row.</p> <p>What will you do?</p> <p>Core Responsibilities and Key Performance Objectives</p> <ul> <li>Own the company's revenue and cash flow forecast, reporting, and analytics. </li><li>Deep-dive into the company's finances, identifying ways to streamline and improve financial processes. </li><li>Partner with the sales organization to maintain our CRM, manage the sales pipeline, prepare sales forecasts, and administer variable compensation plans. </li><li>Assist in the preparation of board materials and serve as the go-to person for sales data and analytics. </li></ul> <p>Within the first 3 months:</p> <ul> <li>Learn LineVision's products, business model, and commercial strategy. </li><li>Familiarize yourself with existing financial models, CRM tools (Hubspot), internal systems (NetSuite, Google Sheets), and company data structures. </li><li>Begin contributing to revenue forecast updates and shadow key sales operations processes. </li></ul> <p>Within the first 6 months:</p> <ul> <li>Take ownership of pipeline management and revenue forecasting processes. </li><li>Support monthly and quarterly board reporting efforts with up-to-date sales and revenue data. </li><li>Administer variable compensation plans, working closely with Sales and People Operations. </li></ul> <p>Within the first year:</p> <ul> <li>Identify and implement improvements to revenue and sales operations processes to support scale. </li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline sales-to-cash workflows and improve forecast accuracy. </li><li>Build dashboards and reports that enable better decision-making across Finance and Sales teams </li></ul> <p>How to succeed in this role</p> <p>Key Competencies</p> <ul> <li>Strong analytical capabilities, with a solid grasp of data manipulation and spreadsheet proficiency. </li><li>Excellent collaboration skills to work across departments and understand financial and operational drivers. </li><li>A detail-oriented, curious mindset with confidence to express ideas and suggest improvements. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>1+ years of experience in financial analysis, sales operations, or a related role. </li><li>A working understanding of financial modeling and data analysis techniques. </li><li>Comfort navigating or learning tools like Google Sheets, Tableau, Hubspot, or NetSuite. </li></ul> <p>What Sets the Best Candidates Apart</p> <ul> <li>Proactive ownership of problems with a track record of process improvement or automation. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to work with ambiguity, stay organized, and prioritize competing deadlines. </li><li>Eagerness to learn new systems and tools, and enthusiasm for joining a mission-driven company. </li></ul> <p>Reporting & Team Structure</p> <ul> <li>Reports to VP of Finance within the Finance organization. </li><li>Works closely with Go To Market, Finance, Accounting, People Operations, and Executive stakeholders to ensure accurate forecasting, compensation administration, and scalable revenue operations. </li></ul> <p>Interview Process</p> <ul> <li> <p>Apply Online.</p> </li><li> <p>Round 1: Phone screen (Recruiter)</p> </li><li> <p>Round 2: Hiring Manager Interview</p> </li><li> <p>Round 3: Panel Interviews</p> </li><li> <p>Panel 1: Technical competency & experience</p> </li><li> <p>Panel 2: Teamwork, culture fit, and customer presence</p> </li><li> <p>Final Round: Leadership Team & Hiring Manager Sign-Off</p> </li></ul> <p>What does joining LineVision mean for you?</p> <ul> <li>Impact.
