Your responsibilities will include labeling vial pans with product information, preparing media according to manufacturing SOPs, and completing relevant batch paperwork. You will also be responsible for cleaning glassware, running the autoclave, checking equipment logbooks, and calibrations.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Prepare vial pans by rinsing with W.F.I. </li><li>Daily use of Cozzoli GW-24 Vial Wash Unit to wash vials for fill. </li><li>Label all vial pans with pertinent product information. </li><li>Prepare media as per related manufacturing SOPs and complete relevant batch paperwork. </li><li>Clean glassware and run autoclave. </li><li>Check equipment logbooks and calibrations. </li><li>Cross-train for additional responsibilities throughout the lab. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Experience in lab or laboratory settings. </li><li>Familiarity with biology and autoclave operations. </li><li>Ability to restock supplies and perform sterilization. </li><li>Ability to lift and handle heavy materials. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or Equivalent. </li><li>Ability to read and write English. </li><li>Math aptitude. </li><li>Lab experience is a plus. </li><li>Training will be provided. </li><li>Able to lift 25 pounds trays and flip them over for 30-minute intervals. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>Work in a fast-paced environment where you will be part of a team supporting the lab's daily operations. The role requires standing on your feet for extended periods and lifting trays of raw materials weighing up to 35 pounds. The position involves lifting 17-21 pound metal trays and inverting them, with a maximum of 50 trays at once. Other heavy lifting includes cleaning and lifting empty glass carboys into the sink. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 10/11 am - 6/7 pm. Training duration varies between 2 to 25 months, depending on the candidate, and is conducted from 6:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday.</p> <p>Job Type & Location</p> <p>This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Port Washington, NY.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
