<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Description: Mathematics Specialist Position at Crystal Lake Elementary School.</p> <p>This position requires that qualified candidates must be able to:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Design and implement early numeracy interventions using research-based strategies</p> </li><li> <p>Differentiate instruction based on student needs throughout the MTSS process</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate with staff and parents as to students' progress within intervention</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with school and district-wide specialists</p> </li><li> <p>Be familiar with instructional coaching models to support teachers</p> </li><li> <p>Support teachers with academic and behavioral strategies and interventions</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in necessary PPT/504 meetings</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in additional responsibilities as determined by building administration</p> </li><li> <p>Understand and connect with students to build positive relationships</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to muli-task and facilitate various projects throughout the day</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications: Applicants must hold a valid elementary Connecticut teaching certificate.</p> <p>Application Procedure: Apply Online.
