First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking a Dealer Loan Officer to join the team in the Dealer Division. The Dealer Loan Officer manages, grows, and services a portfolio of auto dealership clients which utilize flooring (automobile inventory financing) lines. The position requires industry-specific credit underwriting skills and ongoing portfolio risk-monitoring activities, and also entails client relationship building, retention, and cross-sales. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm (hours may vary) Compensation: The annual salary range for this role is $70,000 - $95,000/annually; commensurate with experience. The successful candidate will be hired for the level of the position that aligns with their experience. The ideal candidate will have: Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field; or equivalent work experience required Prior dealer banking experience or relevant automotive industry experience preferred 2+ years of professional experience in consumer and commercial lending Experience in negotiating, structuring, pricing, documenting, and closing loan transactions Proven experience in bringing in new business, as well as negotiating, structuring, pricing, documenting and closing loan transactions Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills required Must be self-motivated, goal-oriented, tactful, and possess a pleasant personality, which is essential for frequent interaction with customers in person and by phone Knowledge of business financial statements and commercial credit analysis Knowledge of floor plan (auto inventory) and other auto-related financing Excellent time-management skills to meet prescribed deadlines Proficient in Microsoft 365 suite of applications Benefits:?
