The teacher will identify and implement best practices in instruction and student achievement. The teacher will create an engaging, welcoming, and safe classroom environment which stimulates learning, growth, and development. The teacher will motivate students to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge needed to provide the primary foundation for future education. The teacher will establish positive and respectful relationships with students, parents, and staff.</p> <p>DISTRICT OVERVIEW:</p> <p>Livonia Public Schools employs approximately 1,800 staff members, serving approximately 13,200 students pre-K - post secondary. There are 15 elementary schools, 3 middle schools, 3 high schools, 1 career technical center, 1 early childhood center, and 1 vocational and transition center in the school district.
