<p>Job Title: Civil Project Manager</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>We are seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to join our team and step into a leadership role. With the recent promotion of the previous director, this position offers an opportunity to become the second-in-command, leading a team of junior engineers and designers through the full project lifecycle. This role requires extensive project management experience, overseeing projects from inception to completion, including conducting quality assurance/quality control on designs and managing project budgets and schedules.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Lead a team of junior engineers and designers through the full lifecycle of civil engineering projects. </li><li>Oversee and manage projects from start to finish, ensuring all aspects meet quality standards. </li><li>Conduct quality assurance/quality control on design work and manage project budgets and schedules. </li><li>Review and evaluate work performed by designers and project engineers. </li><li>Effectively manage project budgets and schedules to ensure successful project completion. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Extensive experience in civil engineering and project management. </li><li>Proficiency in Civil 3D and civil design. </li><li>Experience in land development and site development. </li><li>Ability to apply engineering principles and standards in civil design for site layout, grading, erosion control, and roadway. </li><li>Strong skills in writing civil reports. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Professional Engineer (PE) certification is highly desirable. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The position offers a dynamic work environment within a team of four on the civil engineering side, with potential for hybrid work arrangements after a six-month to one-year probationary period. Initially, the role requires working in the office, with the possibility of working remotely two to three days a week post-probation.
