Plans and conducts individual, group and family therapy with patients and families. </li><li>Documents patient treatment using Electronic Medical Records (EMR). </li><li>Consults on clinical issues with physicians, treatment teams, directors, and other department personnel. Acts as a liaison between patients, hospitals, and community agencies to ensure coordinated care. </li><li>Provides clinical information and documentation to managed care organizations during precertification and concurrent reviews, advocating for patients based on clinical presentation. </li><li>Manages crisis situations by quickly appraising the situation and selecting appropriate interventions. Identifies and intervenes in cases of suspected abuse with sensitivity to age-specific concerns. </li><li>Assists in the orientation of new team members. Provides high-quality service through positive interpersonal relations and outstanding customer service during all interactions. </li><li>Demonstrate working knowledge of involuntary commitment process. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Awareness of therapeutic boundaries and ability to monitor transference within the therapeutic relationship. [Required] </li><li>Patient-centered approach with ability to connect with each patient. [Required] </li><li>Clinical supervision of master's prepared individuals working towards clinical licensure.
