You will be responsible for driving and supporting reliability and continuous improvement efforts throughout the company, utilizing advanced data systems. This role offers a flexible work schedule with opportunities for growth and leadership development.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Develop best practices and standards to enhance operational efficiency. </li><li>Coach and teach reliability principles to plant staff. </li><li>Make strategic decisions and lead projects to align with corporate strategies. </li><li>Implement technology solutions using Oracle Cloud and SCADA data systems to communicate plant performance. </li><li>Use data to debug processes and improve efficiency. </li><li>Evaluate new assets and create solutions to mitigate risks and failures. </li><li>Collect and analyze data to drive and implement change. </li><li>Focus on process improvement, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology (IE, EE, ME, etc.) </li><li>2+ years of experience in continuous improvement, process, and strategic problem-solving. </li><li>Experience in utilizing data to drive change and lead improvement projects. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>CMPP certification </li><li>Green Belt certification </li><li>MLT certification </li><li>Experience with Oracle </li><li>Knowledge of regulatory standards </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>Work primarily in a large manufacturing facility that produces shelving units found in major retail stores. The environment includes older equipment and a noisy setting due to fabrication and manufacturing lines. Engineers will spend time on the floor, collaborating with production support and working on projects. The company offers a casual dress code and a laid-back work environment.</p> <p>Job Type & Location</p> <p>This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Middlebury, IN.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $43.27 - $57.69/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
