<p>The Associate Director, IT Asset Management (ITAM) oversees the operational and strategic management of IT assets, including software and hardware portfolios. This role focuses on optimizing value, minimizing costs, and managing risks associated with our IT investments.</p> <p>This position will be 4 days/week on-site at our Sleepy Hollow, NY location.</p> <p>A typical day may include the following:</p> <p>Software Asset Management (SAM):</p> <ul> <li>Manage software portfolios to optimize value and reduce costs. </li><li>Oversee our license agreements, renewals, and compliance. </li><li>Implement SAM processes and metrics to drive efficiency and cost savings. </li><li>Apply tools like ServiceNow SAMPro for data quality and license optimization. </li><li>Lead software rationalization initiatives and identify savings opportunities. </li></ul> <p>Hardware Asset Management (HAM):</p> <ul> <li>Develop strategic vision for hardware lifecycle management. </li><li>Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory standards. </li><li>Optimize asset utilization and negotiate vendor contracts. </li><li>Drive continuous improvement in HAM processes and adopt new technologies. </li></ul> <p>IT Governance & Compliance:</p> <ul> <li>Align practices with enterprise governance standards (e.g., NIST, EU AI ACT). </li><li>Implement secure coding practices and ensure regulatory compliance. </li></ul> <p>Strategic Planning:</p> <ul> <li>Develop plans for asset optimization and cost reduction. </li><li>Collaborate with partners to align strategies with organizational goals. </li></ul> <p>This may be for you if you:</p> <ul> <li>Can demonstrate the ability to simplify processes, drive measurable outcomes, and enhance customer experience in a dynamic IT environment. </li><li>Have knowledge of regulatory requirements related to IT. </li><li>Can implement governance frameworks and ensuring compliance. </li><li>Have in influencing internal and external collaborators to drive positive operational decisions. </li><li>Experience working with global teams and demonstrating global best practices for service delivery. </li></ul> <p>To be considered you are to have minimum of 10 years in IT Asset Management, with 7+ years managing SAM and HAM processes. Your leadership experience should include cross-functional teams and critical initiatives. Your technical expertise in ITAM tools (e.g., ServiceNow SAMPro), software/hardware lifecycle, and vendor management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for cost optimization and risk management. Familiarity with ITIL, ITSM, and global practices. Preferred qualifications include: Bachelor's degree, Certifications (e.g., IAITAM, Microsoft licensing).
