<p>Job Description</p> <p>Description</p> <p>SAIC is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to join our Agile team supporting our customer the United States Patent and Trademark Office.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Document test plans, test scenarios, and test scripts. </li><li>Execute test scripts and fully document all defects. </li><li>Work with development team to resolve defects. </li><li>Interface with development team to understand requirements and improve SW test effectiveness. </li><li>Actively participate in developing & improving existing testing scenarios and test cases. </li><li>Develop automated test scripts. </li><li>Work on multiple testing activities in parallel. </li><li>Create appropriate test data </li><li>Query data repositories to validate application functionality </li><li>Develop and test for 508 compliance </li><li>Develop scripts and test application performance </li><li>Monitor application quality against Product KPI's and SLA's </li><li>Update the Rally Agile tracking tool stories, tasks, and results </li><li>Test application workflows and corresponding data status </li><li>Test application monitoring and logging (observability) features </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>BA/BS degree and 9 years or more of relevant experience </li><li>Agile scrum experience </li><li>Agile tool experience </li><li>Test Case development </li><li>Functional/Smoke test experience </li><li>Cloud native software testing experience </li><li>UI testing </li><li>Capability in Database query languages (SQL, MySSQL, Postgres) </li><li>Knowledge of tools and implementation: Selenium, HTML, MS-Office, Documentation </li><li>Must be able to obtain Public Trust Clearance requiring US Citizenship </li></ul> <p>Desired Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Agile Rally Tool </li><li>Test automation scripting </li><li>AWS native testing experience </li><li>Performance testing </li><li>508 Test experience </li><li>Knowledge of XML, CMS, REST </li><li>Knowledge of Java based development tools </li></ul> <p>Overview</p> <p>SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.</p> <p>SAIC is a premier Fortune 500 mission integrator focused on advancing the power of technology and innovation to serve and protect our world.
