We have opportunities for advancement at all of our sites and are excited to have you join the kdc/one Team!</p> <p>General Information:</p> <p>The Focused Factory Supervisor I supervises, organizes, directs and measures all activities within the production department to achieve the highest levels of safety, service, quality, and productivity for a designated shift.</p> <p>What are we looking for?</p> <ul> <li>Associate or bachelor's degree in a technical field highly preferred. Communicates performance expectations and delivers feedback as required. </li><li>Plans and manages, with the input of the Focus Factory Managers, the activities of the production workforce, including permanent and temporary employees, to ensure production schedules are met within quality, safety and operational standards. </li><li>Identifies, leads, and drives opportunities around equipment and/or methods to improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), LEAN manufacturing principles, labor utilization and quality requirements. </li><li>Controls operational costs, including but not limited to standard labor costs, inventory costs, scrap rates and equipment downtime, to ensure the production department operates within the set budget. </li><li>Coordinates with other departments on planning and scheduling production runs, changeovers, preventative maintenance and work order assignments and other related activities. </li><li>Collaborates with the Focus Factory Managers to establish and/or revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs) and best practices for the production department. </li><li>Directs and performs all work in a manner that is consistent with the company's quality system and FDA good manufacturing practices, includes maintaining a clean and orderly production area at all times. </li><li>Coordinates and participates in root cause analysis on OEE shortfalls. Develops and executes corrective actions that improve equipment performance, cost, quality, and customer service. </li><li>Follows, promotes and enforces KDC's safety and environmental policies, practices and procedures. </li><li>Assists with safety investigations and corrective actions related to safety hazards and/or incidents. </li><li>Contributes to the KDC University training plan and drives the execution of training to ensure all production employees have received necessary training and are following all applicable SOP's, Work Instructions, and GMP procedures. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li></ul>
