<p>Medical Assistant - Full Time Opportunity!</p> <p>Location: Coconut Creek, FL</p> <p>Position Overview</p> <p>We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to provide high-quality, team-based patient care in a pediatric primary care setting. Under the direct supervision of a clinician, this role supports both clinical and administrative functions to promote patient health, wellness, and an exceptional care experience. The Medical Assistant plays a key role in assisting clinicians and care management teams with patient assessments, chronic disease management, examinations, treatments, and in-house laboratory services.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Deliver quality, team-based patient care under the supervision of a licensed clinician</p> </li><li> <p>Assist clinicians and care management teams with patient assessments, examinations, treatments, and chronic disease management</p> </li><li> <p>Perform all laboratory testing procedures, including:</p> </li><li> <p>Venipuncture</p> </li><li> <p>Finger sticks</p> </li><li> <p>Heel sticks</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure compliance with laboratory quality control and safety standards</p> </li><li> <p>Accurately obtain and record patient vital signs (manual vitals preferred)</p> </li><li> <p>Provide friendly, professional, and patient-centered customer service</p> </li><li> <p>Support clinic operations by maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient care environment</p> </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) </li><li>Strong medical assisting and direct patient care skills </li><li>Proven phlebotomy experience </li><li>Working knowledge of medical terminology </li><li>Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification </li><li>Valid driver's license </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or equivalent (required) </li><li>Medical Assistant diploma or certification or at least 3 years of Medical Assistant experience </li><li>Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred) </li><li>Experience using TriMed EMR (preferred) </li><li>Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving clinical environment </li></ul> <p>Work Schedule & Environment</p> <ul> <li>100% onsite pediatric primary care clinic </li><li>Schedule includes: </li><li>Monday: 1:30 PM - 7:00 PM </li><li>Tuesday-Friday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM </li><li>Every other Saturday: 7:45 AM - 12:30 PM </li></ul> <p>Job Type & Location</p> <p>This is a Permanent position based out of Coconut Creek, FL.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $37035.18 - $52304.07/yr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
