At Notre Dame, your work matters, and so do you!</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>The University Counseling Center (UCC) in the Division of Student Affairs is hiring part-time licensed psychologists, social workers, marriage and family therapists, or mental health counselors to provide a broad range of behavioral health and psychological services to the University's undergraduate and graduate student population. Clinicians must be available to provide in-person counseling between 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m, Monday - Friday for a minimum of 8 hours a week. Multiple part-time positions will be available for the Spring 2026 semester.</p> <p>Part-Time Counseling Center Clinicians will:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Engage in the work of a university counseling center, including triage, short-term counseling, group counseling, crisis work, and consultation to the campus community.</p> </li><li> <p>Plan and implement treatment interventions as part of a multi-disciplinary team for a broad range of clinical concerns.</p> </li><li> <p>UCC full-time staff are available to provide consultation and manage crisis situations that may arise.</p> </li></ul> <p>For more information about the UCC, please visit our website at ucc.nd.edu.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Advanced degree in psychology, social work or counseling and current clinical licensure in the state of Indiana.</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency in addressing all aspects of students' intersecting identities within the context of psychotherapy.</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct thorough risk assessment, intervene according to level of risk, document timely outcome of intervention, and plan for continuity of care.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong communication and interpersonal skills including handling sensitive information and nuanced situations.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work independently as a member of a multidisciplinary team.</p> </li></ul> <p>Additional Information</p> <ul> <li> <p>Clinical services provided as a part-time clinician are covered under the University's malpractice insurance. The UCC provides training in relevant policies and procedures. All services provided will be in accordance with the clinician's professional standards of care and ethical code, and Indiana state law.</p> </li><li> <p>Clinicians must be available for in-person, individual counseling between 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m, Monday - Friday for a minimum of 8 hours a week beginning in January 2026.</p> </li><li> <p>Multiple positions available.</p> </li><li> <p>Part-time clinicians are invited to participate in professional development activities offered by the UCC.</p> </li><li> <p>Hiring Pay Range: $67/hour</p> </li><li> <p>Applicaitons will be accepted until January 5, 2026</p> </li><li> <p>RESUME & COVER LETTER ARE REQUIRED to be considered for this position.
