Responsibilities include clinical assistance, sterilization of equipment, patient education, and administrative duties.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Assist dentists during procedures by preparing patients, materials, and instruments. </li><li>Lead daily operatory readiness and turnover. </li><li>Monitor inventory levels and manage ordering of clinical supplies. </li><li>Maintain strict compliance with infection control protocols, including cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing dental instruments according to OSHA standards </li><li>Take dental X-rays, impressions, and assist in procedures as needed. </li><li>Document patient histories, treatment notes, and charting accurately in EHR systems. </li><li>Educate and guide patients on oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and general dental health. </li><li>Support front desk with clinical input as needed for scheduling or patient flow. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant training program or equivalent experience. </li><li>Current state Dental Assistant certification and radiology certification (as required). </li><li>Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with patients, team members, and dentists. </li><li>Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail. </li><li>Proficient in sterilization protocols, dental terminology, and EHR systems. </li><li>Ability to multitask and perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Demonstrated commitment to patient care, privacy, and confidentiality. </li><li>Proficiency with dental software and basic computer skills preferred. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment:</p> <ul> <li>Primarily spent in a dental treatment area.
