<p>Salary: $58,000</p> <p>Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm</p> <p>PRIMARY JOB FUNCTION(S):</p> <ul> <li>Provides supervision, training, coaching, discipline, and performance evaluation to an assigned group of staff and persons served. Provides feedback and discipline, along with the Assistant Director, when appropriate. </li><li>Verifies the staff attendance and ensures the staff is providing active support for all people assigned. </li><li>Ensures there is adequate staff in attendance at the program and obtains temporary staff or alternate staffing options when needed </li><li>Assesses the need for adaptive equipment to enhance people's productivity/activity level and makes appropriate referrals and suggestions to the appropriate manager. </li><li>Confirms that adequate materials are in place at the start of each shift and throughout the program time </li><li>Documents incidents as needed </li><li>Uses crisis intervention skills in emergency situations when needed </li><li>Responsible for staff development including program orientation, completion of training, and ongoing learning of direct support staff. </li><li>Works with Assistant Director and implements strategies to reduce turnover </li><li>Conducts visits and/or inspections of assigned areas to ensure all contractual specifications are being met </li><li>Familiar with all DOL regulations as relating to persons served and ensures they are all being met </li><li>Serves as a positive role model for other employees in the program </li></ul> <p>REQUIREMENTS:</p> <p>EDUCATION:</p> <p>Associate Degree is required; Bachelor's degree in a related area is preferred</p> <p>EXPERIENCE:</p> <p>Two years of supervisory experience. Experience working with persons with intellectual disabilities is a plus. Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
