As a member of the materials and distribution family at Trinity, you will perform activities related to processing, receiving, recording, storing, and/or shipping of raw materials/finished goods. Operates mobile equipment (heavy equipment, forklift, cranes, yard vehicle, lift truck) to move materials/products between warehouse/manufacturing facilities. May utilize computer software to identify materials/goods, ensure accuracy of purchase orders and maintain inventory.</p> <p>What you'll do:</p> <ul> <li>Expedites the movement of parts and material between warehouse and production areas by lifting or otherwise moving raw materials and/or parts </li><li>Prepares and coordinates schedules for pulling and delivering materials to control the flow of goods and regulate production floor space </li><li>Safely operates appropriate equipment required to move materials along production floor </li><li>Responsibilities may include activities related to shipping of materials or finished goods </li><li>Stages and maintains storage of finished goods for scheduling of shipments </li><li>Ensures security and accountability of materials </li><li>Ensures packaged goods are loaded according to documentation and bills of lading </li><li>Complies with all company safety rules, and procedures </li><li>Operate all lift trucks to transport materials </li><li>Learn and maintain knowledge of parts and materials required in the production process </li><li>Pull and delivers (unloads and loads) materials as requested </li><li>Basic knowledge of shipping documentation and procedures </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>What you'll need:</p> <ul> <li>1-2 years of related experience </li></ul>
