<p>Description:</p> <p>POSITION TITLE: Facilities Maintenance Coordinator</p> <p>DEPARTMENT: Operations</p> <p>LOCATION: 1575 Blue Hill Avenue</p> <p>REPORTS TO: Director of Facilities</p> <p>TYPE/WORK HOURS: Full-time</p> <p>SALARY: Negotiable - Based on Education and Experience</p> <p>SUMMARY</p> <p>Coordinates and assists in assigned facilities projects, which includes but not limited to inventory monitoring, janitorial, maintenance, building and plant management.</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>90% Facilities Services</p> <ul> <li>Perform daily repair and maintenance tasks throughout the building including basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general upkeep. </li><li>Conduct daily and weekly inspections of interior and exterior building areas to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns. </li><li>Complete light repair work such as replacing outlets and switches, patching and painting walls, unclogging drains, fixing door hardware, and carpet spot cleaning. </li><li>Coordinate and oversee painting, remodeling, and general building repair projects. </li><li>Monitor and support the work of contracted cleaning staff to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are maintained. </li><li>Assist the Facility Director with renovation and expansion projects as needed. </li><li>Ensure maintenance rooms, storage areas, and workspaces remain clean, organized, and safe. </li><li>Schedule and coordinate equipment and facility repairs with vendors when necessary. </li><li>Maintain the work order/ticketing system, ensuring timely response and resolution. </li><li>Ensure proper and timely removal of trash and recyclables. </li><li>Monitor building systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and emergency systems for proper function and report issues immediately. </li><li>Coordinate maintenance and testing of life safety systems, including fire alarms and evacuation procedures. </li><li>Coordinate the testing and maintenance of life safety and evacuation systems, including semi-annual fire drills and related safety equipment. </li><li>Maintain Compressor system perform Tests when needed </li><li>Coordinate Equipment Performance Evaluation, </li><li>Assemble all equipment and arrange trade in deals </li></ul> <p>10% Safety Compliance</p> <ul> <li>Maintains documentation pertaining to OSHA regulations. </li><li>Serves on Safety Committee, coordinates fire and emergency drills. </li><li>Ensures the safety of the building from fire, flood and other hazards. </li><li>Ensures snow and ice removal from all entrances, paths, sidewalks, and stairways </li></ul> <p>Must cooperate fully with MCHC's Corporate Compliance Program and perform other duties as may be required for smooth and efficient operation of the Center assigned by the Director of Facilities.</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Five years of related demonstrated experience in a health care setting. </li><li>Background in property development, facilities operations, plant & facilities maintenance, housekeeping/janitorial. </li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills. </li><li>Computer efficiency(Microsoft, Excel, Word, Outlook) </li><li>Valid driver's license is required. </li><li>Minimum of 3 years of driving experience with a good driving record </li></ul> <p>Work Location: In person</p>
