<p>New Opportunity for a QC Chemist in Hauppauge, NY!</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>The QC Chemist will be responsible for conducting routine and advanced testing within a specific group or department. This role involves operating specialized equipment and participating in investigation activities to ensure quality control in pharmaceutical settings.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Conduct routine testing or other analysis within a specific group or department. </li><li>Perform advanced and critical testing as required. </li><li>Operate specialized equipment for testing purposes. </li><li>Participate in investigation activities. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Hands-on experience with ICP-MS, ICP-OES, UV, HPLC, GC, IC, and Dissolution instruments. </li><li>Proficiency in operating computer and analytical instrument software such as Empower, Chromeleon, Lab solutions, and LIMS. </li><li>Analytic skills in pharmaceutical chemistry using HPLC for 2-15 years. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Must have a life science related degree, preferably in chemistry. </li><li>Knowledge of Karl Fisher, GMP, wet chemistry, UV Vis, titration, and GC analysis. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The QC Chemist will work in a cGMP laboratory or manufacturing environment, conducting QC testing for newly approved products and new license transfers, primarily using HPLC and dissolution methods. The role operates Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am to 5 pm, with optional overtime available on weekends.
