This individual will engage with community members, partners, and LMCU employees to promote financial empowerment and ensure the seamless execution of outreach events. The ideal candidate is a relationship-builder, educator, and detail-oriented team player who is passionate about helping others improve their financial well-being.</p> <p>Occasional travel is expected up to 20%.</p> <p>What you'll do:</p> <p>Program Development & Delivery</p> <ul> <li> <p>Coordinate logistics for financial wellness events, including scheduling, setup, and material preparation.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with planning and implementation of LMCU-hosted Financial Reality Fairs, providing high school students with interactive financial learning experiences.</p> </li><li> <p>Lead and support training sessions for LMCU employees who facilitate financial education workshops, equipping them with tools and best practices.</p> </li><li> <p>Serve as a backup presenter for LMCU-led financial wellness presentations and workshops in various community settings.</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to enhance the design and delivery of financial wellness programs.</p> </li><li> <p>Stay informed on industry trends, research, and best practices in financial education to support continuous program improvement.</p> </li></ul> <p>Community & Member Engagement</p> <ul> <li> <p>Represent LMCU at financial fairs, community events, and educational engagements, promoting financial literacy and empowerment.</p> </li><li> <p>Respond to inquiries from members, partners, and the public regarding financial wellness opportunities and programming.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain active involvement in community initiatives and volunteer opportunities, particularly with key partners like Junior Achievement.</p> </li><li> <p>Travel as needed to support events at LMCU branches, schools, and partner locations.</p> </li></ul> <p>Content & Resource Development</p> <ul> <li> <p>Assist in the creation and refinement of educational resources such as presentations, handouts, and digital content aligned with LMCU's financial wellness goals.</p> </li><li> <p>Contribute to the ongoing development and promotion of the LMCU Financial Wellness Center platform, ensuring it is accessible, engaging, and effective for diverse audiences.</p> </li></ul> <p>Administrative & Strategic Support</p> <ul> <li> <p>Monitor internal requests for materials and ensure timely delivery of necessary supplies and information for employee-led financial wellness events.</p> </li><li> <p>Track participation and engagement in financial wellness programs and assist with data collection, reporting, and analysis to measure impact and inform strategy.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with the Financial Wellness Manager to support broader strategic goals and initiatives.</p> </li></ul> <p>What you'll bring:</p> <ul> <li> <p>One or more years of experience in community engagement, education, financial services, or a related field.</p> </li><li> <p>Bachelor's degree in education, communications, business, or a related field.</p> </li><li> <p>Willingness to travel within LMCU's service area and occasionally work evenings or weekends for events.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in program coordination and/or event planning a plus.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and follow-through.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to simplify financial concepts for non-expert audiences.</p> </li><li> <p>Analytical thinking to interpret data and adjust programming based on impact.</p> </li></ul> <p>What you'll get:</p> <ul> <li> <p>All Employees: weekly pay and retirement savings options.</p> </li><li> <p>Full Time Employees: comprehensive health coverage including medical (with prescription), dental, vision, HSA match, paid parental leave, and tuition reimbursement.</p> </li><li> <p>To see a full list of our benefit offerings, check out this helpful guide!</p> </li></ul> <p>Have additional questions about the role?
