<p>Job Summary/Overview</p> <p>This role will primarily build custom shipping crates for products being shipped. You will use a saw to cut material and a nail gun to construct the crate.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>This position will work within the shipping and receiving department. </li><li>Perform picking/packing/shipping functions. </li><li>Identify conveyors and associated parts to measure for packaging. </li><li>Cut wood and build crates & skids for the conveyors and associated parts. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>A team player with excellent communication skills. </li><li>Basic computer, measurement, and math skills. </li><li>Ability to be flexible and adjust priories to reflect changing needs or job demands. </li><li>Attention to detail. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Ability to safely lift/lower/push/pull up to 40 lbs. </li><li>Experience using a saw preferred. </li></ul> <p>Work Schedule</p> <p>Monday - Friday</p> <p>6:00am - 2:30pm</p> <p>Compensation</p> <p>$18 - $20 per hour, based on experience</p> <p>About Columbus McKinnon:</p> <p>Columbus McKinnon is a leading worldwide designer, manufacturer and marketer of intelligent motion solutions that move the world forward and improve lives by efficiently and ergonomically moving, lifting, positioning and securing materials.
