<p>Vinson Hall (VH), a premier Continuing Care Retirement Community, located in beautiful McLean, VA is currently seeking an energetic team player to join our team as a Dining Services Supervisor.</p> <ul> <li>High school graduate or equivalent preferred. </li><li>At least two years of experience in an acute care facility or two years food service experience. </li><li>Desire to associate with elderly population, displaying pleasant, helpful behavior. </li></ul> <p>The Dining Services Supervisor is responsible for tending to the dining service needs of residents in assigned section of the dining room as well as supervising smooth operation of all service areas.</p> <p>The primary responsibilities for this position include:</p> <ul> <li>Assist in training new staff. </li><li>Utilizes Universal Precautions and all relevant protocols in the care of all residents. Observes all policies and procedures currently in effect, including fire and safety programs. </li><li>Inspects all tables in the assigned section of the dining room and assists any new employees or temporary employees assuring their assigned area is in order before serving, ensuring that all areas are in the proper order. </li><li>Monitors and assists in directing departmental activities (e.g. meal service, food production, catering activities and tray service). </li><li>Assists managers in conducting quality assurance audits (i.e. health and safety weekly and monthly audits). </li></ul>
