<p>General Statement of Duties</p> <p>The Office of Environment (OES) Seasongood Internship is a full-time, temporary fellowship for 10 weeks during the summer of 2025. The role will include a diverse set of office-level work and civic services. The nature of the work will be based on organizational needs and individual interests and skills. Candidates should be detail-oriented, dependable, and a positive team player as they will be managing and supporting the execution of key departmental priorities in a fast-paced environment. OES is mainly focused on facilitating the execution of the Green Cincinnati Plan. This team member will play a key role in building a more sustainable, equitable, and resilient Cincinnati.</p> <p>The role will be based in City Hall with some duties occurring off-site on an intermittent basis. Access to transportation is required.</p> <p>The position is designed to be a time-limited experience. The Intern will have the option to apply for any available and applicable roles within the department or the city upon conclusion of the internship.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications (KSAs)</p> <p>EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED:</p> <p>Any one position within this classification may not include all of the duties listed nor do the listed examples include all of the tasks which may be performed.</p> <p>Facilitates well-established and documented programming</p> <p>Supports launch and execution of pilot programs</p> <p>Gathers updates and shares communications on behalf of the department</p> <p>Attends community outreach events to represent the department</p> <p>Answers communications, questions, and complaints by email, phone, or in person</p> <p>Maintains and updates public communication tools</p> <p>Specific OES Program Role;</p> <p>Zero waste support</p> <p>Youth climate action support</p> <p>Green workforce marketing</p> <p>Food program and policy support</p> <p>Communications support including website, social media, and outreach events</p> <p>And other needs as they arise and are appropriate</p> <p>HR CONTACT: v.robyn.kinebrew@cincinnati-oh.gov</p> <p>Required Education and Experience</p> <p>In order to qualify for the Seasongood Internship, individuals must be:</p> <p>Undergraduate or graduate students</p> <p>Interested in public service as a potential career path</p> <p>A U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or a non-citizen with proof of eligibility to work in the United State</p> <p>Able to submit a City job application for employment</p> <p>Due to the focus of the Seasongood Internship, priority will be given to candidates who are undergraduate college students ideally transitioning between sophomore and junior years or junior years and senior years.</p>
