<p>Fire Alarm Service Manager</p> <p>Location: New Berlin, WI</p> <p>The Fire Alarm Service Manager is responsible for managing all fire alarm service operations at the branch level. This includes overseeing scheduling, technician performance, customer service, code compliance, and job completion. The role ensures that fire alarm inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance are completed accurately, on time, and in compliance with NFPA and AHJ requirements.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Manage branch-level fire alarm service operations, including technician dispatch, workload management, and customer communication. Works with service coordinator to schedule and dispatch service calls. </li><li>Review and approve timecards weekly. </li><li>Ensure timely and compliant inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA 72 and local AHJ guidelines. </li><li>Review and approve T&M tickets and submit WO to accounting for invoicing once all costs have been applied if no Account Manager </li><li>Orders necessary materials and equipment for all service, deficiency and test projects and inspections. </li><li>Weekly review of unbilled WO report. </li><li>Monitor service quality, response times, and customer satisfaction at the branch level. </li><li>Assist with management of service inventory of fire alarm parts, testing equipment, and tools. </li><li>Act as the point of contact for escalated service issues and emergency service calls. </li><li>Support hiring, onboarding, and professional development of service staff. </li><li>Ensure technician adherence to all safety protocols and company policies. </li><li>Directly oversee service and inspection technicians. Performs monthly KPI meetings, in-person quarterly to review bonus scorecards. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Strong leader, motivator and communicator, with the ability to prioritize, problem solve and make decisions. </li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills. </li><li>5+ years of fire alarm service experience </li><li>Strong working knowledge of fire alarm systems and NFPA codes (especially NFPA 72). </li><li>NICET Level II in Fire Alarm Systems or ability to obtain within 6 months. </li></ul>
