<p>Engineering Coordinator</p> <p>Pay Range: $34.00-$37.00 Hourly</p> <p>Role & Responsibilities:</p> <p>Environmental</p> <ul> <li> <p>Responsible for coordinating Plant environmental activities to ensure compliance with USG, WDNR, EPA, and Municipal requirements at Walworth and Delavan. This includes but is not limited to items such as the following.</p> </li><li> <p>Understanding of all plant environmental obligations and permit requirements</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate the completion of plant environmental reporting working the various stakeholders involved in the process.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with problem-solving events stemming from deviations or fugitive emissions.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate and facilitate Corporate environmental audits and regulatory audits</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate all groups involved with Environmental permit renewals.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage Plant waste profiles</p> </li><li> <p>General Functions</p> </li><li> <p>Administrator for Contractor Safety Program for Walworth and Delavan</p> </li><li> <p>Manage all routine (blanket) contracts for Walworth and Delavan</p> </li></ul> <p>Quality</p> <ul> <li> <p>Responsible for coordinating Plant quality activities to ensure compliance with USG and third-party requirements at Walworth and Delavan. This includes but is not limited to items such as the following.</p> </li><li> <p>Lead role in conducting quality capability audits</p> </li><li> <p>Lead role in Finished Goods audits</p> </li><li> <p>Work with Production to ensure quality requirements are being followed</p> </li><li> <p>Play key role in developing QIP plans and Implementation (mainly Wal, but Del as needed)</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate the formulation process for custom colors including core colors.</p> </li><li> <p>Understand UL requirements and how to read/use UL Field Service manual (Wal and Del)</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate and facilitate third party audits.</p> </li><li> <p>Review plant quality manual annually, ensure compliance and keep it to date (Wal and Del)</p> </li></ul> <p>Candidate will initially undertake environmental responsibilities and through training, progress to the coordinator 2 role, where they will also assume quality responsibilities.</p> <p>Qualifications & Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Strong analytical and decision-making skills. </li><li>Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills. </li><li>Ability to interact effectively with internal/external stakeholders. </li><li>Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task effectively. </li><li>Proficient computer skills. </li><li>Self-driven with ability to work independently </li></ul> <p>Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.</p> <p>USG employees enjoy a number of benefit options for themselves and their families.
