<p>SALARY (Non-negotiable)</p> <p>$38,417 - $52,083 with benefits package (Based on verifiable experience in field)</p> <p>Paygrade 7</p> <p>HOURS</p> <p>40 hours, 12 months (260 days)</p> <p>Bargaining Unit: This position is part of the non-supervisory Support Services collective bargaining unit</p> <p>FLSA: Non exempt</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>High school diploma. Post secretarial training preferred with focus on clerical and bookkeeping.</p> <p>Five (5) years office experience. Applicable post-secondary training may be accepted in lieu of experience.</p> <p>Capacity to act independently with regard to continuing assignments requiring the organization of materials, handling of routine administrative details, preparation of reports, and sound decision-making.</p> <p>Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.</p> <p>Ability to use advanced features of Microsoft Word (i.e. merges, tables, sorting, labels, etc.) Publisher, Excel, One Note, PowerPoint, Outlook and to learn new software applications related to the position.</p> <p>Excellent organizational and technology skills.</p> <p>Thorough knowledge of business English, spelling, vocabulary, modern office practices, procedures, and equipment, particularly electronic file storage, maintenance and retrieval.</p> <p>Ability to compose and edit correspondence, memoranda, and other documents from general instructions.</p> <p>Demonstrated ability to use advanced features of various word processing and data base programs such as Microsoft Office, X2 Aspen, Business Plus.</p> <p>Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and interact in a positive manner with staff, educators, parents and the general public.</p> <p>Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a variety of situations.</p> <p>Good organizational and self-starter skills with ability to meet deadlines.</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>Provide administrative support for the Transportation Manager - Routing & Information Systems and specialists.</p> <p>Answer telephone calls, screen calls and provide information and forward messages as appropriate.</p> <p>Maintain records for the white fleet vehicles owned by WCPS.</p> <p>Learn and assist with the management of the supporting applications with the routing software.</p> <p>Assist with the management of the fuel cards and accounts for WCPS employees.</p> <p>Prioritize requests and complaints and respond in a timely manner.</p> <p>Assist with the preparation of materials for various program reviews and audits related to Transportation Services.</p> <p>Generate and manage all special projects workshop forms for authorization and maintain records for compilation of hours and expenditures</p> <p>Set up all Professional Development conferences starting with the OTRA webform and then handling the registrations, hotel rooms, travel arrangements as necessary</p> <p>Perform other job-related duties as assigned.</p>
