The Electrician is responsible for checking vacuum breakers and installing section block lights.

3 Calibrates and repairs carbon monoxide monitors and methane monitors.

Carbon monoxide monitors are located every 1,000 feet along the belt line. The Electrician is responsible for inspecting, calibrating using a calibration kit and gas tank and repairing these monitors monthly. The Electrician is responsible for inspecting, calibrating using a calibration kit and gas tank and repairing these monitors weekly.

4 Performs weekly maintenance of load center, distribution box and vacuums.

The Electrician will perform weekly maintenance by viewing, performing calibrations and hanging signage (if necessary).

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

STANDING: Stands occasionally while performing various essential functions, on uneven ground.
