<p>The Residential Lending Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Residential Lending team, assisting with loan workflows, file management, member communication, and office operations. This role plays an important part in supporting an efficient lending process while ensuring accuracy, organization, and a positive member experience.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Support loan application intake, document collection, and loan file setup </li><li>Maintain accurate and organized loan files and supporting documentation </li><li>Track loan pipeline activity, conditions, and deadlines to support timely processing and closings </li><li>Communicate with members regarding documentation requests and loan status updates </li><li>Coordinate with processing, underwriting, and closing teams throughout the loan process </li><li>Perform quality checks to ensure loan files are complete and compliant </li><li>Assist with preparation of disclosures and loan documentation </li><li>Support reporting, scheduling, file organization, and general office operations </li><li>Respond to internal and external inquiries related to loan documentation and status </li><li>Provide backup support across lending operations functions as needed </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred </li><li>1-3 years of banking, lending, or administrative support experience </li><li>Familiarity with mortgage lending processes and loan origination systems preferred </li><li>Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills </li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment </li></ul> <p>Benefits</p> <p>RFCU offers a comprehensive benefits package, including Cigna medical benefits, dental benefits, vision benefits, a 401(k) plan with company match and profit-sharing potential, flexible health and dependent care plans, and life, AD&D, and LTD insurance.
