<p>Full job description</p> <p>Carter's Ace Hardware is looking for skilled mechanics/technicians proficient in the diagnosing and repair of a wide variety of outdoor power equipment as well as a friendly demeanor for talking to customers. A Stihl Technician is responsible for the overall success of the Stihl and outdoor power equipment department. They are the key point-of-contact in the store to establish and promote relationships with Stihl customers, as well as being the go-to person in the store for all questions regarding power equipment. This is a position that will require continual technical training and growth.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Diagnose problems and determine what repairs are needed on STIHL power equipment. </li><li>Disassembly, repair, and reassembly of components and machines. </li><li>Performs all service tasks </li><li>Prepares all forms (detail of work performed on repair orders) to be entered into our computer system. </li><li>Report any additional work required on equipment to customers, for proper and safe operation. </li><li>Participates in all training programs. </li><li>Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion. </li><li>Brings to the attention of the Store Manager any shop tools or equipment that is not in a serviceable condition or is unsafe to use. </li></ul> <p>Company Introduction</p> <p>We are your local hardware store and we are a part of your community.
