<p>Utah Valley University is seeking a dedicated and organized individual to lead custodial operations within Dining Services. This role supervises a team of hourly student custodians, providing hands-on training in effective floor care, cleaning techniques, and safety practices to ensure a clean and welcoming environment for the campus community. In addition to overseeing daily custodial responsibilities, the position also supports evening catering events by coordinating with catering staff to ensure smooth execution and proper post-event cleanup. Enforcing rules, regulations, and policies.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain inventory and supervise the usage of supplies, chemicals, and equipment. Contributes to a work environment that encourages knowledge of, respect for, and development of skills to engage with those of other cultures or backgrounds.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists in hiring qualified employees by participating in the interview process and making recommendations regarding the employment of applicants. Approve electronic time sheets, assumes the duties of absence student custodians in their assigned area.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.</p> </li><li> <p>Provides work direction to evening catering student employees.
