<p>Job Title: Gastroenterologist - Weekend Advanced Endoscopy Coverage</p> <p>Location: Tufts Medical Center, Boston, MA</p> <p>Position Type: Per Diem / Part-Time (Weekend Call Coverage)</p> <p>Overview</p> <p>Tufts Medical Center's Division of Gastroenterology is seeking a board-certified gastroenterologist with advanced endoscopy training to provide weekend coverage for urgent cases. The role includes performing ERCP, EUS, colonic stenting, and other advanced interventions for both inpatients and round-trip patients. A gastroenterology fellow will be available to assist throughout the weekend.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Provide advanced endoscopy coverage from Friday 5:00 PM through Monday 7:00 AM.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform urgent advanced endoscopy procedures (ERCP, EUS, colonic stenting, and others).</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with hospitalist, ICU, and surgical teams in the multidisciplinary management of complex patients.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with hospital and departmental standards.</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate effectively with referring providers to ensure safe and coordinated patient care.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>MD or DO degree with board certification in Gastroenterology.</p> </li><li> <p>Completion of an Advanced Endoscopy fellowship.</p> </li><li> <p>Eligible for medical licensure in Massachusetts.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong clinical acumen, procedural expertise, and a collaborative team-based approach to care.</p> </li></ul> <p>Schedule & Compensation</p> <ul> <li> <p>Weekend call coverage: Friday 5 PM - Monday 7 AM.</p> </li><li> <p>Competitive per diem compensation</p> </li></ul> <p>Application Instructions</p> <p>Interested candidates should apply through this link, or email CV to Alexa Landa at alexa.landa@tuftsmedicine.org.</p> <p>Tufts Medicine is a leading integrated health system bringing together the best of academic and community healthcare to deliver exceptional, connected and accessible care experiences to consumers across Massachusetts.
