If you thrive in a collaborative, patient-centered environment and value evidence-based practice, we'd love to meet you.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li> <p>Deliver comprehensive patient assessments and design individualized therapy plans</p> </li><li> <p>Implement and adapt interventions based on patient progress and needs</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with licensure standards</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate holistic care</p> </li><li> <p>Provide discharge recommendations and connect patients with community resources</p> </li><li> <p>Supervise and mentor PTAs, rehab aides, students, and volunteers</p> </li><li> <p>Uphold ethical standards and participate in ongoing professional development</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (MPT or DPT required)</p> </li><li> <p>Licensed or temporarily licensed in Maryland as a Physical Therapist</p> </li><li> <p>No clinical experience beyond education required. Must be able to perform all phases of job after initial three months</p> </li><li> <p>Current BLS (CPR) certification</p> </li><li> <p>Strong analytical and interpersonal skills</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</p> </li><li> <p>No post-graduate clinical experience required-just a commitment to excellence</p> </li></ul> <p>Physical & Mental Requirements</p> <ul> <li> <p>Frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), and fine motor coordination</p> </li><li> <p>High levels of concentration, attention to detail, and multitasking ability</p> </li><li> <p>Occasional exposure to bodily fluids and hazardous materials (PPE provided)</p> </li></ul> <p>Happy to Help</p> <p>At Meritus, we believe in a collaborative and caring work environment.
